Should a be tight when not in use for about 2 wks. to 1 mth.or be a little loose.?

my boyfriend feels like if we haven't had in awhile that it should be tight, and when we do he claims that it is loose and that he can't feel my walls as if I have been messing around on him. I told him that his must be use to going up in someone else.
